• Age Division
When you hear someone referring to Tiny, Mini, Youth, Junior, or Senior, these are all simply implying your child’s age division. Generally, it is that easy. Moreover, USASF officials are inclined to change the minimum age requirements for the divisions every few years or so, thus this can shift over time. Here are the breakdowns for all star cheerleading in San Diego:

• Tiny: Ages four to six
• Mini: Ages five to eight
• Youth: Ages five to 11
• Junior: Ages five to 14
• Senior: Ages 11 to 18 (It depends on the level)

As you can notice that there is some overlap. In common, this overlapping is made to support gyms of all scales and make the most competitive team possible. Several smaller gyms can have two (13-year-olds tested with a group of nine-year-olds). Meanwhile these two both qualify to be on a junior or senior team, they might not have enough athletes to make a team. Hence, the nine-year-olds can join them to make a junior level team.

• Level
The level is a bit simpler. The number signifies what your athlete is genuinely permitted to perform on the competition floor. Whereas, this does not mean that they are insufficient in showing immense skill that they possess and it also doesn’t mean that they have all the skills required for that level. With the objective of making the strongest possible team, their level usually signifies the most that both they and their peers can perform.

Your child may be given level three skills, but unless they do all of their level three skills with a group of athletes who also are in their age group, they won’t be on a level three team. Every gym has a unique feature at the time of making these decisions, but yet, keep in mind that it is not always certain that your level demonstrates your ability. It indicates the overall best abilities of your team. For more details on cheer gyms in San Diego, Visit https://www.pacificbeachallstargyms.com/
